I’m so excited to say that Jessica & Tyler’s wedding was featured on a Landlocked Bride, a blog that features weddings from the Mountain West and Midwest regions of the country! Check it out here:
This was a really fun shoot at Randi and Sean’s beautiful home in Ketchum! Spending some time with all of them reminded me of the sweetness of family time right after we had both of our kids– when you’ve put aside everything else and just enjoy one another (before you have to start thinking about work and everything again). Of course this was a while ago and Randi and Sean are way past that stage now– but I love that these pictures remind me of that and hopefully they will bring back similar memories for Randi and Sean too. And of course, Hannah is so cute with her little sister Zoe! Congrats you two on the addition to your super sweet family!
I know I’ve been slacking a bit with blog posts lately! I have been as busy shooting as usual, but have also been spending lots of time working on this new blog, which is finally up, and a new website! I’m pretty excited about the new site, which is much simpler, cleaner and has much bigger images, which is awesome! The new blog has much more to it than the old one, which is also great. Not to mention that it’s all Ipad compatible too. So hope you enjoy looking around!
I wanted to share some recent shot of the kids, Gurmeet and our dog Opie from the last big snow storm we got. It was the perfect weekend morning– snow floating down, creating our own little winter wonderland. We bundled the kids up and headed out onto the street in front of our house. Kyra is 16 months old and finally becoming a steady walker. She loves the snow and was more than happy to be pulled along in the sled by her big sister. You gotta love winter in Idaho!
Three words: fun, fun fun! I love working with seniors because we always create so many fun unique images! Emily’s session was no exception. Emily grew up in the valley and now attends boarding school in London. We had a great time doing her senior portraits while she was home for winter break. Starting in Sun Valley on a crisp and clear winter day, we played in the snow for a while and then headed down to Hailey to have some fun in the studio. Emily—you are awesome! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!
Wanted to share some photos from Lorena and David’s weeding. I haven’t known them long, but can tell that Lorena and David are going to be super happy together! A pharmicist and a surgeon (who work in the same hospital system in Atlanta), and seem like they should have crossed paths at least a couple of times, Lorena and David actually ended up meeting online. Anyway, they hit it off right away and seem perfect for each other! They were so happy to be getting married in Sun Valley, where David’s grandpa built a cabin just north of Chocolate Gulch.
Congratulations you two!

It seems like it’s baby season again in the valley! I’ve been doing lots of newborn sessions and Annalee, who you see here, is the latest and cutest. So many new little ones are skinny, but Annalee has the cutest chub– I love it! Leah is also such a beautiful new mom. I had a great time photographing them!
So fun to have this bus rolling around town with a picture of my little girl on the back! I took this photo of Asha, her cousin Simi and Simi’s cousin Ripley at the Arts & Crafts Festival this summer and was delighted when they asked to use it on the back of a bus! Anyway, I also wanted to share some pictures of my girls that I took this fall. As a photographer, I’m pretty bad about taking pictures of my own kids, so I was very proud of myself for getting it together to get out when the colors were nice. Gurmeet and I have had so much fun with the kids lately and are loving being parents (though he would never admit it!). Anyway, hope everyone is having a happy holiday season!
Jessica and Tyler braved the frigid weather last Saturday for their winter wedding! Jessica grew up in the valley, and over the years has had a great time sharing all her special spots with Tyler, who is a big fly fisherman, and loves it here. They now live in Boise, but were so excited to tie the knot here. After getting ready at separate condos, Tyler waited for Jessica on a chairlift at Dollar and they had the cutest moment when they saw each other for the first time. Although all of their friends thought they were crazy, they insisted on an outside ceremony at 8 p.m. on the porch at the Valley Club! Hand warmers were provided and everyone was excited enough to stay warm. The partying afterward warmed everyone up the rest of the way!

I was honored to have the chance to photograph Liesl and Nowel’s wedding. They are one of those couples that make me so happy to do what I do!
They had a beautiful wedding at Trail Creek this fall. They were awesome to work with because they are one of the most creative and stylish couples out there! I loved every little detail of Liesl’s outfit and Nowel, who is a graphic designer, made their invitations. I also had a chance to do an engagement shoot with them this summer, which was one of the most fun shoots I’ve done in a long time. Nowel came up with the whole concept and images turned out so fun (I’ll be sure to post some of those soon!)
It was awesome as usual to work with Amanda Seaward of Absolute Weddings and Nicole from Sun Valley. Flower Designs by Kathy put together some beautiful flowers for the event.
